Much has already been read and commented on by Alston Moor Partnership members and by those who have come to the meetings looking at particular sections, or requested copies and provided feedback. So more than half is already revised from comments.
The Community Plan aims to bring together the ideas and aspirations of people who live here, so we can work together, whether as volunteers in various contexts or by applying for grant funding for particular projects, focussing on the actions that will be of greatest benefit to the community. Grant applications demand evidence of community support for the project, and the published Community Plan will be the easiest way of demonstrating that.
If you haven’t yet requested or commented on the Community Plan drafts, you can read it here, and get your comments to me as soon as possible. Final revisions will be made during the last half of March and I’d really appreciate comments well before that. Send comments to Alice @ the Community Plan eMail address.
