Alston Moor Partnership

Alston Moor PartnershipAnnual General Meeting

Garrigill Village Hall at
7.00pm on Tuesday 29th October.

Together we can make a difference

Come and join us in Celebrating 20 years of Alston Moor Partnership and help shape what happens next.

Alston Moor Partnership started as a partnership of community representatives, and we want to put the partners back into the Partnership.
We would therefore particularly like to reach out to those of you involved in other community groups as we would like this event to bring us together to try and achieve a common vision for Alston Moor. Together we can do much more than we can when striving separately to achieve our goals. Whether you’re part of a group or not, we really hope you’ll come along.

We (the Directors) have decided to dispense with membership fees altogether. So anyone who belongs to the community of Alston Moor (including those living in Slaggyford, Knarsdale, Ayle and all the other communities just outside the Parish who feel part of Alston Moor) are welcome to our meetings.

Do come along and find out what we have done, what we are doing now and what we would like to do – and have your say about what you would like to see happen on Alston Moor.

This will be a friendly networking event with a chance to grab a coffee or tea and cake, and sit around a table rather than rows of seats. Hopefully we will also have the bar open. See draft programme below.

We hope this might inspire you to get involved in what we do, maybe by joining a working group or even joining the Board of Directors (we are a not for profit company and therefore we have a Board of directors instead of a Committee with committee members, but they perform the same role). We would really welcome more representation from other community groups on our Board as well as interested individuals.

So, after discussions and thoughts have been aired, we hope you will stay for the AGM business.
