The Townscape Heritage Project is funded by the Heritage Lottery, with smaller contributions from Eden District Council and Alston Moor Parish Council, to restore shop fronts in Alston to their former glory.

Community Plan News

The Community Plan aims to bring together the aspirations and ideas of the whole community about how we can ensure that Alston Moor continues to be a good place to live and work.

Greenprint News

The Alston Moor Greenprint is a project funded through Cumbria Action for Sustainability (CAfS) researching and supporting the implementation of ways to make Alston Moor sustainable in a changing world.

Our Shop

Our base is a shop premises, with a kitchen, at the top of Alston. This is where we hold Board meetings and events. Others can rent the shop for their own meetings and activities
